New River Academy does not discriminate against any applicant due to race, sex, religion, or national origin. Each applicant must be interviewed before beginning classes. Both the student and the parents must be desirous of admission and must be involved in planning the program.

At New River Academy, we have adopted the A Beka Curriculum for 3 year old kindergarten thru 8th grade. Accompanying this is the willingness to work with the student at the level he or she is currently functioning. In addition, New River Academy uses hands on activities, field trips, speakers, and special projects that increase the desire to learn and give each student a sense of accomplishment.

Assignments can generally be completed at school, which keeps homework to a minimum. Students are encouraged to read, study for tests, and complete makeup work at home.

New River Academy also offers help days for students needing extra attention in specific subjects. Help days are offered 2 times a week. Days are determined when school begins.

Tuition plans are individualized. A schedule of tuition and fees is available upon request. Also, extended payment plans are available.
